PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternating-current power inclusion detector capable of simply and inexpensively detecting the inclusion of alternating-current power with accuracy and a circuit protector equipped with this alternating-current power inclusion detector. SOLUTION: The alternating-current power inclusion detector includes: a polarity inversion detection unit 3a that detects inversion of the polarity of a line; and an inclusion determining means 4c that determines that alternating-current power has been included in the line when the polarity inversion detection unit 3a detects the inversion of polarity and determines that alternating-current power has not included when the detection unit does not detect the inversion of polarity. The circuit protector includes the alternating-current power inclusion detector. It further includes a line supplement unit 2 as a disconnecting means that disconnects the line when the inclusion determining means 4c of the alternating-current power mixture detector determines that alternating-current power has been included.
