<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing member for polishing the outer surface, inner surface, and corner sections of a workpiece and the portions thereof where burrs are generated. <P>SOLUTION: This polishing member polishes the outer surface and/or the inner surface of the workpiece. The outline of the polishing member comprises a flat surface section extending continuously in the longitudinal direction and a ridge section having at least one sharp projection formed on the opposite side of the flat surface section. The flat surface section and the ridge section are twisted, and the twisted portion is formed in a polishing section. The shape and the quantity of the projections are optional. The inner and outer surfaces of a tube can be polished and/or deburred by the corners formed when the flat surface section and the polishing section are twisted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
