<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin analog pointing key structure excelling in operability and practicality. <P>SOLUTION: The analog pointing key structure includes: a rigid-body key top 3; a support member 6 having the rigid-body key top 3 fixed to a surface 7a, and provided, at least in part of a position surrounding the rigid-body key top 3, with an elastic restoration part 8 allowing the rigid-body key top 3 to displace in a direction along the surface 7a, and capable of restoring the displacement; a ring-like magnetic member 5 fixed to the support member 6 to surround the rigid-body key top 3, and having at least part thereof located between the rigid-body key top 3 and the elastic restoration part 8; and a magnetic sensor detecting change of magnetic flux density due to displacement of the ring-like magnetic member 5 operatively connected to the rigid-body key top 3. The analog pointing key structure further includes an elastic member 10 fixed to the backside of the support member 6, allowing the rigid-body key top 3 to displace in the thickness direction of the support member 6, and capable of restoring the displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
