<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power conversion equipment which can improve its efficiency by reducing the drive loss of a switching element at a light load or at no-load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the power conversion equipment, which is equipped with a switching element drive that drives a plurality of switching elements connected in parallel, according to output power, the switching element drive drives the plurality of switching elements connected in parallel with the same drive signal, when it gets over specified output power, on the one hand, and it drives only some of the switching elements connected in parallel and stops the drive of other switching elements, when it falls under the specified output power, on the other.
