<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor and a coil for the reactor capable of improving flexibility in the positional arrangement of a terminal stage to which the end of the coil is connected. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reactor comprises a pair of the coils 10 connected in parallel to each other, and a core 20 which is fit in both the coils 10 in a ring shape. In the reactor 100, ends of windings constituting the coils 10A and 10B are drawn sideways from the coils 10A and 10B. By drawing the ends of windings sideways from the coils 10A and 10B, flexibility in the arrangement of a terminal stage connected to the winding end is improved. A configuration comprising no case for housing an assembly of the coil 10 and core 20 can be employed to reduce the size of the reactor, thus attributing to the omission of the case.
