<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining crack growth generated in a member with high precision by a finite element method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for determining crack growth includes three steps: a first process of determining first crack-tip stress field parameters by a plurality of adjacent elements adjacent to a plurality of crack-tip elements forming the crack-tip of the three-dimensional model of the member in the crack-growth direction; a second process of determining second crack-tip stress field parameters of the same kind of other parameters excepting a part of parameters of the first crack-tip stress field parameters by substituting a part of parameters of the first crack-tip stress field in the crack-tip elements; and a third process of determining, by comparing other parameters of the first crack-tip stress field parameters with the second crack-tip stress field parameters, whether respective differences are in a first predetermined range.
