<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc aluminate nano-material and a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the zinc aluminate nano-material includes: a first step of providing a growing device comprising a heating furnace and a reacting room; a second step of providing zinc and aluminum and placing the zinc and aluminum in the reacting room; a third step of providing a growing substrate and placing the growing substrate in the reacting room; and a fourth step of introducing an oxygen-containing gas into the reacting room and heating the reacting room to thereby grow a zinc aluminate nano-material on the growing substrate.
