<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus and an optical disk device, which stably hold an objective lens and which can be miniaturized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is provided with a lens holding member 124 holding the objective lens, a fixing member 126 which is fixedly installed, a first magnet 127 arranged between the lens holding member and the fixing member, a second magnet 128 disposed on an opposite side of the first magnet across the lens holding member, projection members 131 and 231 which project in a direction of the first magnet or the second magnet from the lens holding member and can abut on a side in a direction parallel to a direction connecting the first magnet and the second magnet in the first magnet or the second magnet in the projection direction, and a supporting member 132 whose one end is connected to the projection member and whose other end is connected to the fixing member and which elastically supports the lens holding member.
