<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instability turnover preventing device for a small vessel, in particular a fishing boat, the instability turnover being generated in association with bad weather or unbalance of the load, for example when the vessel is going back to the fishery harbor with fishing nets held at the board(s) in order to increase the taking, as additional measure to the electric system being currently developed for improving the vessel running performance and/or increasing the taking. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The turnover preventing device for small vessel is configured so that a compressed air is momentarily fed from a high pressure tank 3 into a high pressure rubber float 1 installed chiefly at the board so as to increase the buoyancy, whereby the condition of turnover or sinking can be improved or precluded, and it also serves for retaining the buoyancy in case of emergency.
