The present invention relates to a cosmetic skin care method, in particular for wrinkled skin, comprising the topical application to the skin of a composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least: one synthetic polymer tightening agent, and fibers. This method is more particularly advantageous for smoothing human skin on the face and/or body and/or to diminish or remove the signs of skin aging, in particular to reduce or remove wrinkles and/or fine lines from the skin.
