<p>A packet sort unit is provided to set an optical multi-drop path in the downstream direction and an optical path between neighboring nodes in the upstream direction, thereby properly controlling a packet stream in the downstream and that in the upstream. Thus, even in the case where the optical multi-drop path is used in the downstream direction, it is possible to carry out one-to-one or one-to-N communication not only among servers and clients but also among clients.</p> |
