OFDM TRANSMISSION UNIT, ITS SIGNAL SEPARATION UNIT, AND MEMORY ACCESS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM transmission unit which suppresses power consumption and heat generation by improving the efficiency of memory usage, and to provide its signal separation unit and memory access control method.

SOLUTION: Access right to a memory 2 is assigned to a requestor circuit by responding to read requests generated by circuits 31 to 3n without assigning a preset slot timing to the circuits 31 to 3n and CPU 1. Percent of the slot assigned to each processing depending on speed requested by each circuit 31 to 3n is made variable, thereby absorbing a difference in speeds of respective circuits 31 to 3n, and further the priority of memory access by the CPU 1 is raised highest by giving the access right to the CPU 1 unconditionally at the timing when there is no read request.
