<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection performance of determination on engagement completion of a clutch. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmission system of a vehicle has a continuously-variable transmission 10 and a drive shaft 21 connected to a transmission output shaft 13 via a reduction gear pair 20, wherein the drive shaft 21 is connected to an axle 23. The drive shaft 21 is equipped with the clutch 25, which switches between an engagement state for transmitting output of the transmission output shaft 13 to drive wheels 22 and a release state for breaking the transmission, and the clutch 25 is arranged on an output side of the power transmission system. Rotation speed of a primary pulley 12 is detected by an input side rotation sensor 31, rotation speed of a driven gear 20b is detected by an output side rotation sensor 32 and when engagement operation of the clutch 25 is made in a state that the vehicle is almost stopped or in a state of a very low vehicle speed, engagement of the clutch 25 is determined based on a detection value from the input side rotation sensor 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
