<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of electric motor capable of controlling an electric motor so that a traveling body and a rotating body of a machine equipped with the electric motor can perform, without discontinuous changes of speeds, a smooth slope start and a smooth upward rotating, respectively, by suppressing downward-backward movement and downward rotating of a load (a machine etc.), when starting movement of the traveling body on a climbing lane (slope start) and rotating the rotating body upward on a slope. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit of electric motor includes: a calculation means for calculating a direction and a magnitude of a target torque that the electric motor should generate on the basis of values detected by an operation detection means and a rotation detection means; and an electric motor control means for controlling the electric motor. When an operation amount of a handle is in a neutral range including zero, or an operation direction of the handle and a rotation direction of the electric motor counterwork mutually, a power running torque is set to zero and an absolute value of regeneration torque is set to the maximum value. When regeneration operation is performed with a rotation speed of the electric motor in a range of ultra low speed, the rotation speed of the electric motor is controlled in response to a magnitude of difference between an absolute value of an output torque of the electric motor and the power running torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
