<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, a print control method and a print control program, for efficiently and surely executing print processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing system includes a controller 20 for preparing image data on the basis of the print data of a page description language and an image processor 30 for receiving the image data from the controller 20, storing them in a storage part and executing the print processing on the basis of the image data, and the image processor 30 executes the control of storing the image data in the storage part and then notifying the controller of a permission to transmit the next image data at a prescribed interval and the control of prolonging the prescribed interval when the residual amount of the image data which can be stored in the storage part becomes a threshold for stipulating the lowest value or less.
