<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which can prevent the design of the printing system from becoming complex, and is high in reliability and high maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system 10 for printing in an inkjet method comprises: an inkjet head 102 having nozzles for ejecting ink to a medium 50; a platen 106 as a medium supporting part for supporting the medium 50 to face the nozzles of the inkjet head 102 by supporting the back surface of the medium 50 opposite to the print surface; and a vacuum pump 16 as a decompression means for reducing air pressure of at least an area between the medium 50 and the nozzles of the inkjet head 102 to a value lower than the atmospheric pressure, wherein a distance between the surface supporting the medium 50 of the platen 106 and the nozzle face of the inkjet head 102 is 5 mm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
