<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water remover for an umbrella capable of improving water removing performance without complicating an air distribution system, and suppressing manufacturing cost, power consumption and operation noise, by reutilizing air used in removing water droplets for taking up the slack of an umbrella canopy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This water remover 2 for the umbrella which removes the water droplets on an umbrella canopy 20e has a housing 4 receiving the umbrella 20 in a closed state, inserted into an insertion hole 22 from its tip, an air jetting section 28 for jetting air from a ferrule 20c of the umbrella 20 in the housing 4, and generating an airflow from a ferrule 20c side toward a tip 20f side, and air guides 10e, 30a disposed at an insertion hole 22 side of the housing 4, and guiding air to an inner side of the umbrella by changing the direction of air after removing the water droplets on an upper face of the umbrella canopy 20e.
