PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid skincare preparation for external use for use in the cosmetics/quasi-drugs sectors, slight in stickiness and having dry touch and also having the retainability of liquid or semi-solid active ingredient(s) and having compression moldability as well, owing to be incorporated with a cellooligosaccharide. SOLUTION: The solid skincare preparation for external use comprises (a) a cellooligosaccharide and (b) a liquid or semisolid active ingredient. Specifically, the liquid or semisolid active ingredient (b) is selected from fat-and-oil, plant extract, seaweed extract, hydrocarbons, water-soluble polymers and vitamins.
