<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building capable of improving the degree of freedom in planning while excellently maintaining production efficiency and also capable of effectively utilizing a space taking advantage of an overhang part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first story 12 of the unit building 10 includes a parallel unit 16 and an orthogonal unit 18 while an overhung part 24 composed of two parallel unit 22s is placed on the upper surface of the orthogonal unit 18. An auxiliary unit 26 is arranged in a hanging state at the lower face side of a projected part of the overhang part 24. Therefore, compared with the case that the building unit of the lower-storied side supporting the overhang part 24 is formed in a special form or formed into a plurality of units , the production efficiency is favorable and the degree of freedom in planning is increased.
