<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display that reduces electromagnetic disturbing waves due to a driving current flowing in a plasma display panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display includes the plasma display panel having an electrode where the driving current flows, a chassis conductor holding the plasma display panel and forming a return path of the driving current, a conductive housing containing the plasma display panel and chassis conductor, and a coupling unit coupling the chassis conductor and conductive housing in different coupling states in accordance with the frequency of the flowing current, the coupling unit having a coupling state in which the amount of the flowing current is less than the half current amount in a short-circuit state and the coupling state in which the amount of the flowing current is not less than the half current amount.
