<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation blower capable of efficiently reducing surrounding noise generated from a ventilation blower when the blower is installed on a direct ceiling without a ceiling material and providing a quiet and comfortable living space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This ventilation blower 50 has a double suction type centrifugal blower 5 for sucking air from suction ports 6 provided in both side plates 8 of a scroll casing 7 built in a muffling box body 4 constituted by connecting plate materials, and is mounted on the direct ceiling to be exposed in the living space. The blower 50 is provided with a suction side muffling structure 20 for reducing suction noise and a discharge side muffling structure 30 for reducing discharge noise.
