PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire sidewall capable of improving workability while maintaining low heat generation properties. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire sidewall is prepared by blending with respect to 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component, which comprises 40-70 pts.wt. of natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber and 60-30 pts.wt. of butadiene rubber, wherein a content of a cis-1,4-bond is 95% or more and a content of a vinyl group is 0.8% or less, synthesized by using a neodymium catalyst, 30-40 pts.wt. of carbon black, and 0.2-3 pts.wt. of a processing aid including a fatty acid metal salt and a peptizer.
