PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of peeling a Ti alloy wire material capable of continuously, surely, and efficiently performing the removal of mill scale from a coiled long Ti alloy wire material. SOLUTION: This method of peeling a Ti alloy wire material comprises a peeling step S2 of cutting the wire material W by passing the wire material through a peeling die kD having a ring-like cutting blade n after heating the mill scale formed of oxides on the surface layer of the Ti alloy wire material W reduced to a predetermined wire diameter by a hot wire material rolling S1 by an induction heating device IH to a warm temperature range.
