PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for bracketing-capturing in a digital image processor are provided to shorten a capturing time by maximally reducing motion of a focus motor. CONSTITUTION: A method for bracketing-capturing in a digital image processor performs bracketing capturing by compensating a focus as much as a focus motor difference made in each face. A controller(39-4) performs bracketing capturing while moving a focus motor to a site corresponding to a focus peak value of each face. An AF window setting unit(39-2) sets up an AF window in a detected face.
