PURPOSE: A power supply unit of a display device and a power supply method thereof are provided to reduce the EMI noise, economically and efficiently without comprising EMI filters for each electronic circuit element. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit of a display device comprises an AC input part(100) for receiving AC power, a convertor part(110) for converting the AC power into the DC power and supplying the power to a main board(130), an inverter part(140) for converting the DC power into the AC power and supplying the power to a lamp(150), and an MICOM(132) for forming a feedback circuit among the convertor part, inverter part, and a main IC of the main board.
