<p>A valve in particular of a pump or a filter unit is made of a cylindrical reducing element (2) with a curved pipe section (4, 10) joined to its inner end. Valve and pipe section (4) are accommodated inside a T-piece (6) and the valve joined to same at the inlet (12). The pipe section (4, 10) can be closed with a valve cone (8). The reducing element (2) is made of a blank tested for faults before processing. Both joint areas (16, 18) are also tested with a non-destructive method.</p> |
