PURPOSE: A driver safety system is provided to predict collision of a vehicle considering friction variation and control the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A driver safety system calculates collision time(TTC) based on car speed and distance from an obstacle and determines collision possibility comparing threshold(T1) and set threshold(T1,T2) of caution time.
