BACK-LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backlight assembly and a device having the same are provided to display an image by adjusting the intensity of a transmitted light through the rearrangement of liquid crystal particles on a liquid crystal layer. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly includes a light source(151) and a conductive plate. The light source generates a light, and the conductive plate includes an incident plane(141), an upper plane(143) and a lower plane(142). A light is projected onto the incident plane from the light source, and the upper plane includes prism patterns(144) and contacts with the incident plane. The lower plane faces the upper plane, and plural concave portions(145) are formed on the lower plane. A scattering pattern(146a) is formed on one of the upper and lower portions.
