<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic solvent-based ink composition capable of forming a printed surface with good metallic gloss on the surface of especially a nonporous printing object. <P>SOLUTION: The organic solvent-based ink composition comprises an organic solvent-based metal colloid incorporated with a hydrophilic protective colloid and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate-based copolymer as a binder resin. In this ink composition, it is preferable that the copolymer is 15-45 mgKOH/g in hydroxy number including one having such a structure that at least part of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer is modified with a hydroxy-containing monomer component, and the organic solvent is a combination of two or more organic solvents, at least one of them being a five-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
