The assembly has a water case (10) mounted on a structural element (1) of a body shell of a motor vehicle below a cowl vent grille. The body shell has a peripheral wall (11) for fixation of the element and a base (15) in which a part forms a water evacuation valve. The wall has a duct crossing the base and a connection of a liquid supply pipe (30) of a windshield washer system. The part forming valve is displaceable between closed and open positions for evacuation of water.
