<p>The cutter bar (16) has opposite end areas (40), and a cutting area (36) that is advanced during operation of the cutter bar. The cutting area includes cutting edges (36a) and a lagging mulching blade (50). Additional cutting areas (38) have cutting edges (38a) that are arranged above the cutting area and/or the edges (36a). The areas (38) face a central area (24) with respect to the area (36).
