PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a wiper and a washer are provided to stop the wiper and the washer instantly when the tail gate or tail gate window is opened during the operation of the wiper and the washer. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a wiper and a washer comprises a sensor unit(100), a control unit(110), and a driving unit(120). The sensor unit senses the opening and closing of a tailgate and a tailgate window. The control unit stops a tailgate wiper or a tailgate washer in operation when the opening of the tailgate or/and the tailgate window is sensed. The driving unit stops or activates the tailgate wiper or/and the tailgate washer according to the control of the control unit. |
