<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair that can be used as an electric walking device assisting a person who lacks in the ability to walk in walking and as a self-propelling electric wheelchair as a rider. SOLUTION: A driver's seat 5 is arranged in the center of a body 2 having a front wheel 3 (steering wheel) and a rear wheel 4 (driving wheel), and an autonomous travel handle 6 is disposed in front of that and a walk handle 7 is disposed in the rear of the body 2 so as to make them steerable engagingly with the front wheel 3. By rotating upward and downward the handle bar 32 of the walk handle 7 to put it into a horizontal position (walk position), the driving device of the rear wheel 4 can be controlled by the control box 33 of the walk handle 7, and can be used as an electric walk device by holding the handle bar 32. By rotating the handle bar 32 to change it into a vertical position (autonomous travel position), the driving device can be controlled by the control box 23 of the autonomous travel handle 6, and one can sit on the driver's seat 5 and make it travel autonomously as an electric wheelchair.</p> |
