365,860. Printing surfaces. ULLSTEIN AKT.-GES., 22, Kochstrasse, MATUSCHKE, W., 16, Waldseestrasse, Hermsdorf, and BL€SING, E., 75, Markgrafenstrasse, all in Berlin. March 10, 1931, No. 7393. Convention date, March 10, 1930. [Class 100 (ii).] Stereotype matrices are formed with a surface of the usual material and with one or more backing layers of a compressible material such as blotting-paper to enable the impression to be taken without the intermediate layer of felt usually employed. The backing can be applied during or after the production of the usual matrix material in large sheets or rolls which are cut to the required size. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers also to the use of the material in the manufacture of matrices other than for stereotypes. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
