The device comprises a retaining device (3) for receiving hollow forms (5), in which chocolate is fillable. The retaining device is movable in a space over two axles standing vertical to each other, is rotatably or pivotably arranged in U-shaped retaining frame (1) around an axis X at 180[deg] , and is arbitrarily/continuously rotatable or pivotable in turn around an axis Y vertical to the axis X. The rotation/pivot of the retaining frame is reversed around the axis X between two reversal points (X 1, X 2). A bearing (2) of the retaining frame is placed at open limb ends. The retaining device is rotatable over the driving unit in dependent of the movement of the retaining frame. The movement of the axles (X, Y) are coupled and/or coordinated over the retaining frame and a drive control or over a gear unit, so that when the retaining frame reaches one of the retaining points (X 1or X 2), the retaining frame stops for a retention time as long as until the retaining device continuously rotating around Y-axis has a partial rotation performed around 180[deg] and then the retaining frame again starts the reversing movement around the X-axis. The axis X eccentrically runs to the retaining device during running the axis Y through the retaining device. The device is arranged on a support frame, which is arranged again in a transportable palette. The support frame or the palette is placed on to a circular web shaped conveyor. The support frame of the device or the retaining frame is directly arranged in a cooling device loadable on one side. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of hollow figures made of chocolate.
