<p>The device (1) has a movable transporting device (2) transporting a cargo set (10), and a pre-guiding unit (17) guiding an intermediate layer (13) to the cargo set. An elongated material strip (19) consists of a material of the intermediate layer that is detachable from the elongated material strip by utilizing a separator. The separator includes a cutting device, which cuts the material strip that runs in a direction perpendicular to the transport device of the material strip.
