The method involves creating a global database (16) containing an item of information relating to technical units of a machine, and associating each information with the respective technical unit in the database. A manual draft file (50) defined by a manual structure is created. A link to a selected information is inserted in a selected logic part of the manual structure. A draft file editing peripheral unit (48) of the links is controlled for generating a manual e.g. pdf document (58). An independent claim is also included for a system for creating a manual from an item of information originating from a global data warehouse. |
