PURPOSE: A swine feed additive using natural medicinal herbs and a preparation method thereof are provided to prevent the rearing of colon bacillus in intestines, and to enable pigs to gain weight. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a swine feed additive comprises the following steps of: pulverizing Carthamus tinctorius, Scutellaria baicalensis, Houttuynia cordata, and Saururus chinensis respectively to obtain powder; mixing all those powder of Carthamus tinctorius, Scutellaria baicalensis, Houttuynia cordata, and Saururus chinensis; putting the mixture in a reactor and adding a hydrolase into the reactor; allowing the mixture to react to the hydrolase at the temperature of 70~80°C for 10-14 hours; adding glucose to the reacted mixture and mixing them; granulating the mixture; and drying the granules.
