PURPOSE: An ink supply device for a printer is provided to consecutively supply ink to the printer by maintaining the uniform ink supply amount. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge(120) is connected to an ink reservoir in which the ink for supplying to a printer is stored. An ink presence sensing member is connected to the ink cartridge and dipped in the ink around an ink outlet of the ink reservoir. The ink presence sensing member indicates existence of the ink by detecting changing of the ink inside the ink reservoir. An ink information transfer member(140) delivers the ink information stored in a smart chip(142) arranged to the ink reservoir to the printer.
