PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic characteristic control device wherein acoustic characteristics of a plurality of sound generating parts can be made almost identical, and an acoustic characteristic control method. SOLUTION: The acoustic characteristic control device 10 outputs a test sound signal from a test sound output part 27 to a specified speaker, collects acoustic output from the specified speaker by using a microphone 10a, obtains acoustic characteristic by using a DSP 24, and stores the acoustic characteristic as reference acoustic characteristic in a storage device 34. Acoustic output of test sound from a speaker except the specified speaker is collected in the same way, and acoustic characteristic is obtained. The difference between the acoustic characteristic and the reference acoustic characteristic is obtained by using a control unit 30, and an adjustment part 28 is so controlled that both of the characteristics are made almost identical. As a result, acoustic characteristic of the speaker can be adjusted so as to almost coincide with the reference acoustic characteristic without installing correction circuit for correcting acoustic characteristic to the microphone 10a. |
