The sensor (1) has a sensor housing formed for detachable fixing of the sensor in a wall (3) of a production machine in a high level hygienic production area (25) or in a holder (4) in the production area. The sensor housing has an outer contour (5), which is aligned to an inner contour (6) of an opening in the wall of the production machine or an opening (8) in the holder. The outer contour has a thread with a concave region and a convex region, where a curvature radius of surface of the concave region is greater than 3 millimeters. The housing has an antibacterial coating with silver iodide. |
