A parameter authorization method, Data Path Function (DPF) entity and communication system are provided by the embodiments of the present invention. The parameter authorization method includes: the DPF entity performs the process of parameter authorization if it detects that there is a service flow needing transmitting the feedback information. Via the technical scheme provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the authorization process can be preformed for the parameter of the service flow carrying the feedback information in the header compression process, thus it is can ensured that the feedback information in the header compression process will not influence the basic insurance of the user's service flow, and the transmission quality of the feedback information can be ensured with high quality.
