Method for vibrating formworks set up and used at the building yard for containing and moulding cast concrete, comprising a step of activating a vibrator to impart a vibration that propagates along and throughout the formwork with an elliptical wave having its major axis substantially perpendicular to the lengthwise extension of the formwork.
