PURPOSE: A hydropower generator for a tailrace is provided to rapidly response to damage to a target part and to increase the efficiency of a propeller at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A hydropower generator for a tailrace(2) comprises a holder(10), a suspending stand(20) and a generator(30). The holder is laid across one top of both walls of the tailrace. The suspending stand is extended to the underwater downward from the lower part of the holder. A wing part rotates relative to the water current and is mounted in the generator. The generator is mounted on the lower part of the suspending stand. The generator has a generating part generated with the torque of the wing part.
