A medium (A) for filtration of a fluid containing Lewis acids (I) comprises a porous textile substrate to which molecules containing Lewis base groups are grafted, so that (I) are retained on (A) by complexation with the grafted groups. An independent claim is included for the production of (A), by: (a) impregnating the substrate with a solution of the Lewis base, also containing a surfactant for improving the wetting of the substrate by the solution; and (b) irradiating the impregnated substrate with the ionizing radiation, so that Lewis base is grafted via surfactant bridges. |
