PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for generating korean font combination of an optimized jeongeum type are provided to help people working in book publishing fields related to Korean and a Korean information process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method for generating korean font combination of an optimized jeongeum type includes a keyboard input unit(110), a receiving unit(121), a converting unit(122), a font file processing unit(130), and a font output unit(140). The keyboard input unit can input a key about one of initial sound, middle sound and final sound. The receiving unit checks whether a key inputted from the keyboard input unit is a key range of initial sound, middle sound and final sound and checks what a current syllable state is.
