Reference target for calibrating laser scanners

The reference target (1) has a mirror structure which reverses the impinging laser beam (7) in U-shape. The reflectivity of the mirror structure changes in the scanning direction (8) of the laser beam. The mirror structure has an optical diaphragm (12) changing in the scanning direction of the laser beam. The optical diaphragm tapers in the scanning direction in a wedge-shaped manner. An independent claim is included for a laser scanner with a scan angle range.
