PURPOSE: A latch device is provided to return a catcher on a home position in case the catcher rotates to a holding position unexpectedly without catching a striker. CONSTITUTION: A latch device comprises followings. A catcher(2) comprises a receiving part. The receiving part receives a striker(1) from the front side in the standby position. A hanging unit(24) is formed at the front side of the receiving part. The hanging unit is a concave-shaped part formed in the catcher. A leading unit(24c) is continuously formed at the concave-shaped part. In case the striker hangs and a rotator(D,Da) rotates to the spread position, the leading unit draws out the striker from the concave-shaped part. |
