PURPOSE: An LCD(liquid crystal display) device is provided to improve an aperture ratio by allowing liquid crystal cells adjacent to each other to share a source electrode. CONSTITUTION: An LCD device includes a common line(CL), a common electrode(140), a pixel electrode(130) and a thin film transistor. A data signal is supplied to two liquid crystal cells parallel to a gate line(GL) through one data line, and the common line is formed between the data lines. The common electrode is formed by connecting to the common line. The pixel electrode has a lateral electric field with the common electrode. The thin film transistor is connected to the pixel electrode. |
