FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: information providing device consists of an input device, database of objects having unique addresses; file of indicators identifying unique addresses; processor capable of receiving the input from the user, extraction of the indicator for providing the first indicator; at that, this first indicator is located at the end of the file and corresponds to the input, extraction of one of the objects for providing the first object; at that, this first object is located at the address identified by the first indicator, extraction of the indicator for providing the second indicator; at that, the second indicator is located at longer distance from the end of the file than the first indicator is, and the second indicator corresponds to the above input, extraction of one of the objects for providing the second object; at that, the second object is located at the address identified by the second indicator, providing the first object and the second object to the user; receiving the option from the user, which indicates which of the provided objects is a desirable object, and keeping the indicator corresponding to the desirable object so that the indicator corresponding to the desirable objects becomes the end of the file.
